I took the 1001 out towards Phrao until I reached the km 61 marker

I took the 107 out of town, not something I will rush to do again, it was about 40 km before I started to enjoy it. I was getting cold and for the first time since I bought them the waterproof liners were put back inside my airflow riding clothes, that made life a bit more comfortable and they stayed in there all day

I take the 1001 towards Phrao, about 25 km out of town the buildings finish and its a good fun road, plenty of potato fields out here
Its mostly good tarmac
Plenty of curves too
At Phrao I take the 1150 heading east towards Wiang Pa Pao

Heading north east on the 118, its a great road once past Doi Saket and as far as the Mae Khachan hot springs, at Mae Khachan I turn right onto the 120 and ride about 2 km past Wang Nuea

I left Cnx and headed out on the 118, a couple of kms after Doi Saket there is a small section of road repairs but then its a brilliant ride until the hot springs. From then on its a real crap ride and I mean crap, right up to Ban San Ti Suk about 4 km before the right turn for the 120 at Mae Khachan.
I left Cnx and took the 1317 until the crossroads with the 1006 where I took the right for Mae On, then another right onto the 1229 and at the T junction a right onto the 2031, 23 km later its a left onto the 4052 for Khuntan NP and railway station.
I headed south out of Chiang Khong then after about 5 km took a right onto the 1174
The 1174 is not a particularly endearing road, the surface isnt much good, this picture was from a section of the decent surface which doesnt last too long
