Nan-The 1342 And 1024 Plus Reservoirs

I was expecting to see a bit more greenery than this plus its quite hazy up along here now

I stop in a very small village and here as everywhere fuel is available

This lady is busy with the tamarind

I wonder if these have a significance or whether it was just the children playing

Its quite picturesque at this small village plus a bit more greenery too

Time to enjoy the 1342

Slightly overflowing

Not far downstream a new smaller weir is being constructed to feed a couple of irrigation canals

I take the 4018 then a dirt track off of it to visit three small reservoirs close to each other

The Nam Ming reservoir

I am standing on the concrete overflow and the water level is quite a bit lower

Now at the Yang Nga reservoir

The overflow doesnt look like water has flowed down it recently

Next is the Rong Hang reservoir

Extra capacity is wanted here by the look of it

Now a shot from along the 1024

Theres a turning to the left that goes down to the river and some small waterfalls

I start to ride along this single track but park up and walk it

A few people here enjoying themselves today

Further along the 1024 and some construction is taking place

A dam is being constructed here and hopefully will be full on my next visit

Well its certainly green further ahead

The 1024 has more than its fair share of curves

I take a dirt track to my left that shows on the Esri as going down to a river

The dogs soon come out to greet me

I ride down to the water and I can hear it but not see it

Half a roast chicken, roast potatoes, cabbage , cauliflower, broccoli and gravy for 230 Baht at Tonys Place.
I have eaten more roast dinners here in Nan this trip then ever before and I am thoroughly enjoying them too
