We have had rain here everyday since thursday evening and each night it is getting heavier and lasting longer, lots more water in the streams/rivers now

I was sliding around a lot today and it was slow going even though I was riding on flat surfaces, sod trying to climb steep hills on that slippery red shit

Maybe I was a bit premature in saying it looks like its going to be a nice day

Taking cover from a torrential downpour

Heres where the GPS gave up
I was taking cover from rain when it just beeped and turned itself off, I turned it on again but the screen will only show the amount of satellites that are tracking me.
No buttons work and the only way to turn it off is to disconnect the external power supply and remove the batteries, once either power supply is attached it automatically turns itself on again.
I wait here for probably 30+ minutes then just ride home in it

My dinner being cooked, today is eight days here and no Western food at all

This was sweet and delicious pork with onions and garlic, this plus two portions of rice for 80 Baht and I was stuffed as there was a lot of pork there

  1. Yes better photos this year Kevin with the Canon, mind you it was originally a $250 camera

  2. 8 days with no western food, hope your holding up fine under those tough conditions Colin!
Happily following along with you every morning well I have my coffee, thanks as also. Pictures are looking pretty good this year.
    Cheers,
    Kevin
